OluKai

Olukai’s approach is part of a path - a journey that started with our ancestors that have passed down stories, values, and spirit. At Olukai they believe that sustainability and positive living is less about an ethos and more about the choices that you make everyday. It's about your actions, and inspiring the actions of others. Their mission follows “Our Aloha is our breath of life is about the action of giving without any expectation of receiving.” Even years before OluKai was profitable, they were giving back because that is part of our core values.

Olukai produces products that we believe in at Apex Outfitters. They believe in quality of product and material, craftsmanship in construction and finding quality in life. Every product offers style, durability, and comfort from heel to toe. Olukai pays close attention to every element of design, starting with the use of custom-made lasts and anatomical footbeds to ensure superior fit. Premium materials are carefully selected to be beautiful, durable, and soft against your skin - from their Paniolo and Nui sandal to Moloa slip on.  Handcrafted details honor island culture with authentic artwork. So, behind every pair is this commitment to quality for those who wear them and those who craft them. And we back all our footwear with the peace of mind of a 1-year guarantee.

One Step Inspired It All – The Wet Sand Principle

Where did Olukai’s inspiration come from? The idea of when a bare foot sinks slowly into wet sand. All at once it cups the heel and fills the arch while the toes splay out. Inspired by the feeling of bare feet in wet sand, we build our footwear with anatomically contoured footbeds to deliver the perfect balance of instant comfort and lasting support. You’ll find these contoured footbeds in every product we make. From water-friendly sandals to beach town shoes to upcountry boots, our footwear is designed to deliver unparalleled comfort from the ground up.

To minimizes side-to-side movement, our heel cup cradles the foot, providing stabilityand natural shock absorption. While, the strength of the foot is in the arch, and our anatomical arch support system provides all of the comfort and support that your feet deserve. Lastly, with room to move, their generous toe box allows your toes to spread and move naturally. This combination creates the design for the only sandal approved by the American Podiatric Medical Association.

From the classic Ohana and Kai sandals to the Poko and Akepa Moc, we have you covered during all seasons at Apex Outfitter. So outfit your adventurous side in a new pair of OluKai’s and being living your Aloha.
