Yeti Coolers: Built for the Wild

Founded by two brothers with a passion for the outdoors, Yeti was built for the wild by Ryan and Roy Seiders. Their appreciation for wild game, unfamiliar territory, and high quality gear inspired the idea to create a cooler that could handle the toughest adventure. They found current coolers would break, fall apart, or the lids would cave in - leading to the idea for a new product that filled this void in the market. In 2006 Yeti was founded with one simple mission - to build the cooler you'd use every day if it existed. One that was built for the serious outdoor enthusiast rather than mass retailers. A cooler that could take abuse in the field and on the water - one that simply wouldn’t break and wouldn’t sacrifice quality for a few extra dollars. Because having handle break off or your cooler lid caving in shouldn’t be a part of anyone’s story during a outdoor adventure. Today it has become THE cooler of choice for many - from “outdoor enthusiasts, pros, tailgaters, to backyard BBQ kings.” According to the Seiders brother’s life is about having a good time doing what you love. And for us at Apex Outfitter, that’s about outfitting your adventurous side with the best gear! Yeti’s founders are wild at heart and you can expect that their coolers aren’t anything less.

So how is Yeti built for the wild? Yeti’s are built with a one-piece seamless construction, which allows it to take all types of abuse and pressures. Their three inch pressure injected, commercial grade polyurethane foam lid is sealed shut with Coldlock gaskets to make sure the temperatures stay ice cold up to 7 days. Busted latches and rusty hinges will never be a problem on a Yeti. The heavy duty rubber latches incorporated technology that keeps them from breaking, while having a design that doesn’t protrude out. Yeti uses a rust-proof rod and interlocking design to connect the lid to the base, along with molded-in hinge stops to prevent the hinge from ever breaking. Lipgrip handles, a vortex drain, and tie down slots are just added necessities to make your Yeti even better than the rest.

From Roadies and Tundra Coolers to Hand held Ramblers, you will be fit for any adventure with Yeti from Apex Outfitter. The Yeti Tundra 45 Cooler is their top seller - easy to carry even with a 26 can capacity. The marine grade nylon rope handles let you easily grip your Tundra and haul it on short trips. The size is perfect for day adventures on the lake or beach. But if the Tundra is too big for you, check out the Roadie 20. And don’t let the size fool you - little, but mighty the Roadie 20 is built with the same technology as the Tundra. It is great for personal use with the stainless steel handle for easier portability, like at job sites or when you are headed to a BYOB party. The size is just right and the self-stopping hinges allows the lid to stay open while you search for your ice cold beer. If you want to test the technology before investing in a cooler, the Rambler is for you. Yeti Ramblers are personal drink coolers that will keep your soda or mixed drinks twice as cold as your everyday plastic cups. Made from 18/8 stainless steel with double-wall vacuum insulation, your Rambler is also known for keeping coffee hot for hours. So, whatever your drink of choice is Yeti’s Rambler will become your go to drink mug and trust us, just like the coolers, it won’t disappoint. So stop by Apex Outfitter to check out our latest selection of Yeti products and see for yourself a cooler that's built for the wild.
